Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising hasn’t even hit theaters yet, but Seth Rogen and Zac Efron have already released a teaser for Neighbors 3: Zombies Rising. Watch the spoof preview below!
In the original Neighbors, Rogen went to war with a fraternity led by Efron, while in the sequel, the two team up to battle a sorority. But in the supposed third movie, zombies will be moving in next door. “I think we have to kill it,” Efron says about a ravenous zombie tied to a chair in the basement. “I don’t know man, I’ve never killed anything before,” Rogen responds. “Except my hamster when I was a kid. I sat on him by accident. I don’t count that.”
Rogen, however, gives in and decides to “kill its brain” with a medieval sword, which he admits to stealing from a renaissance fair during the onset of the the zombie apocalypse. But just before he cuts into the zombie, Efron notices the undead man is wearing a “Delta Psi” fraternity shirt. “You can’t kill him. That’s my brother,” he says. “I know you can’t see it, but underneath that messed up face, there’s a cool brother.”
“He’s not your brother, he’s not even a person anymore!” shouts Rogen, before the two begin fighting each other over whether or not to kill the zombie. The footage then cuts to an on-set interview with Efron, who says, “And we call it: Neighbors 3: Zombies Rising.” “I like it! I’ve always wanted to play a zombie,” adds Rogen, before Efron reveals the plot twist: “Beer pong is the cure.” Watch the funny spoof below!
